"Miss Emily" is designed over a natural Ramie Base (Ramie is a Chinese grass that when made into fabric has a beautiful sheen similar to flax). This hat is dedicated to Fitzgerald's novel The Great Gatsby set in the 1920's. The hat band is gorgeous aqua satin and the edge of the brim is trimmed in the same aqua satin. Perfect for a hot summer day! Petite ivory coque feathers and beautiful paper-like aqua silk roses and buds accent the crown of the hat. A delicate ivory organza ribbon cascades over the brim in true flapper fashion. This is an Flapper Hat Style perfect for church, wedding, Easter, Gatsby party, Somewhere in Time weekend event or even Kentucky Derby or a Titanic remembered event.
